Watermelon Mint Dog Popsicles

Watermelon Mint Dog Popsicles

I love my furry fella so much! My husband, Stephen, and I have had Lucia for a little over a year now and he is bundles of fun. He was still a tiny puppy last summer so this is the first summer we have been able to experience all the hot weather activities. We have taken him on boat rides, went swimming and hiking, and of course my favorite, the beach with watermelon mint dog popsicles.

Despite Lucia’s love for the outdoors, he gets so hot after being outside for only a short amount of time. So I decided to make him some popsicles to help him cool down on a hot summer day of running around outside.

I did my research and found that it is okay to give dogs fresh mint. I have mint growing in my herb garden so I added this ingredient to help with that smelly dog breath. And I purchased some cheap molds at Ikea and Amazon for the popsicles and they work great. These are so easy to make and your furry friend will love them!
